Becky Arreaga, Partner

Becky is the agency’s president and one of its founders. Becky sees the vision, and as a master of both strategy and tactics, she can get clients there and beyond. Her philosophy is: do what’s right for the client and build the team to achieve the clients’ goals. Becky spent 10 years, working her way from the bottom up, at the nation’s largest Hispanic agency (now called Bromley Communications) and helped land their most prestigious account, Coca-Cola USA, in 1989. She earned a BA from Texas Tech University and a master’s in advertising at The University of Texas at Austin. Becky currently serves on the National Board of Directors of the College of Mass Communications at Texas Tech University as well as the Board of Directors for Latinitas, Inc., an organization dedicated to empowering young Latinas through media and technology.

Liz Arreaga, Partner

Liz is one of the agency’s founders. Whenever you run into her, she’s ruminating on the next big idea for clients and soon-to-be clients. Her philosophy is: always think like marketers, push hard like a sales force, and enjoy life like there’s no tomorrow! Liz loves a client that really wants to build a passionate partnership to drive brand loyalty and sales through innovative marketing. Her expertise lies in developing and maintaining brand strategies and in creating turnkey retail programs. Liz has earned her stripes, having fought the “cola wars” for 13 years from corporate, field, and bottler marketing positions for Coca-Cola USA. While there, she spearheaded the ethnic marketing efforts on behalf of Coca-Cola USA’s largest bottling operation, Coca-Cola Enterprises Los Angeles. Liz earned a BA from St. Mary’s University and an MBA from Pepperdine University.

Lynn Currie, Partner

A fourteen-year industry veteran, Lynn brings to the Mercury Mambo team an impressive range of marketing knowledge and experience in design, production, web and social media. Over the years, she’s virtually transformed client’s marketing goals into profitable solutions using a 360 degree approach to touch consumers where they live, work and play. Lynn possesses a keen understanding of the event marketing industry and the development and execution of event programs. She leads not only the strategic vision but also the technical and operational aspects of all event marketing programs. Lynn takes her passion for "social" marketing seriously, as not only an offline expert but also online expert. She is an industry thought leader in Hispanic social media space and is currently working on a white paper examining how language and acculturation impacts U.S. based Hispanics internet usage.

April Alejandro, Director Client Management

Having over 13 years experience in the industry, April contributes a depth of consumer and strategic knowledge to Mercury Mambo’s clients. She guarantees that the strategic direction is delivered at the point of contact with a consumer. With special interest in the Hispanic retail landscape, April’s areas of expertise include sales promotions, beverage marketing, and consumer packaged goods. During her time at Mercury Mambo, April has led the field management teams in the development and execution of sales promotions and experiential marketing programs for Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Diageo, J.M. Smucker’s Company and U.S. Cellular. Prior to joining Mercury Mambo, April was group account director at LatinWorks Marketing, where she led the launch and positioning of Hennessy Cognac’s urban Hispanic marketing through a superior blend of VIP events, advertising, community relations and celebrity sponsorships. April started her career at Bromley Communications in her hometown of San Antonio. When not conceptualizing on a client project, April is blogging about motherhood and showcasing her pride in growing up on the Westside of San Antonio.
