MERCURY MAMBO Expands Team Adding Account and Management Staff

AUSTIN, TX, April 16, 2007 – Mercury Mambo today announced that agency has once again added new staff to keep pace with the growth of their business. The new hires include both creative account team members and management infrastructure staff to establish systems and process for the burgeoning agency.
Claudia Chávez Ullrich joins Mercury Mambo as an Account Manager focusing on advertising and merchandising for the agency’s premier account – Cadbury Schweppes Americas Beverages. Ullrich is responsible for strategy, research, and project management over the CSAB brands Dr Pepper, Peñafiel, Squirt and 7UP. Prior to joining Mercury Mambo, Ullrich served as account executive at Cartis Group where she provided project management for USAA, Streetman Homes and SigmaTel among others. Ullrich earned a bachelor of science in advertising from the University of Texas at Austin.
Maria Elena Juarez-Plank joins the Mambo team as a Brand Activation Team Manager, providing on-site support at Cadbury Schweppes where she oversees the Hispanic Dr Pepper programs and promotions. Prior to joining Mercury Mambo, Juarez-Plank served as a bilingual account supervisor at Cultura where she successfully managed all aspects of the Hispanic market programs for Lowe’s Home Improvement and Horizon Homes in markets all across the nation. Previously, Juarez-Plank served as director of special projects at N2Creative Solutions in Dallas, Texas. Juarez-Plank earned a bachelor of fine arts from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas.
Sandra Norwood joins Mercury Mambo as a senior finance and human resources manager. With over twenty-five years of management experience in both small and large organizations, Norwood brings a special set of organizational and business-building skills to the Mambo team that are critical during this high growth phase the company is experiencing. Prior to joining the Mambo team, Norwood worked for Bridgepoint Consulting and provided accounting consulting services to several companies including Symtx, TRAQ Wireless and Pinion Software.
